Well...
My favorite type of music is pop music
I really enjoy Brazilian music
Oh, I love this song that's playing on the radio
"Every breath you take" is a beautiful song
Now, it's your turn:
What 's your favorite type of music? and What's your favorite song?
Enjoy it!

Ex: red - vermelho; blue - azul; yellow - amarelo, and so on...
Confiram:
- A coisa tá PRETA - The situation is really bad (vejam que aqui não usamos cor nenhuma no inglês)
- Estar no VERMELHO - Be in the red
- Olho ROXO - black eye (aqui não falamos purple eye ein!!!)
- Me deu BRANCO - My mind went blank
3 - Meu camarada.... a coisa tá ficando preta!
see ya!

"For weeks a six-year-old boy kept telling his first-grade teacher about the baby brother or sister that was expected at his house.
One day the mother allowed the boy to feel the movements of the unborn child. The six-year-old was obviously impressed, but made no comment. Furthermore, he stopped telling his teacher about the impending event.
The teacher finally sat the boy on her lap and said, “Tommy, whatever has become of that baby brother or sister you were expecting at home?”
Tommy burst into tears and confessed, “I think Mommy ate it!”
kept telling – ficou dizendo
first-grade teacher – professora da primeira série
was expected - esperavam, era esperado
first-grade teacher – professora da primeira série

allowed - permitiu
to feel – sentir
unborn child – feto, “criança não nascida” (lit.)
obviously impressed - obviamente impressionado
made no comment – não fez comentário
furthermore - além disso
impending event - acontecimento vindouro, futuro
to feel – sentir
unborn child – feto, “criança não nascida” (lit.)
obviously impressed - obviamente impressionado
made no comment – não fez comentário
furthermore - além disso
impending event - acontecimento vindouro, futuro
sat the boy on her lap – sentou o menino em seu colo
whatever has become – o que aconteceu
burst into tears - começou a chorar de repente

TRICK OR TREAT???
GIVE ME SOMETHING GOOD TO EAT!!!
Halloween, celebrated each year on October 31, is a mix of ancient Celtic practices, Catholic and Roman religious rituals and European folk traditions that blended together over time to create the holiday we know today. Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity and life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition. Halloween has long been thought of as a day when the dead can return to the earth, and ancient Celts would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off these roaming ghosts. The Celtic holiday of Samhain, the Catholic Hallowmas period of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day and the Roman festival of Feralia all influenced the modern holiday of Halloween. In the 19th century, Halloween began to lose its religious connotation, becoming a more secular community-based children's holiday. Although the superstitions and beliefs surrounding Halloween may have evolved over the years, as the days grow shorter and the nights get colder, people can still look forward to parades, costumes and sweet treats to usher in the winter season.
